What is WorldCat Local?
WorldCat Local (WCL) provides a single point of access and unifies a wide range of library print and digital content. WCL is also called a discovery tool, because it enables you to enter search terms and discover a wide range of content on your topic. For example, if you need information on air pollution, a keyword search will result in listings of books, ebooks, full-text articles, or DVDs available to you in the Pearson Library, online databases, and other libraries.
WorldCat Local:
- Shows you items owned by the Pearson Library and libraries worldwide.
- Contains listings for books and for articles from a growing number of research databases.
- Enables you to search by keyword or by known author or title.
This guide will give you an overview of how to use WorldCat Local. You can download or print a copy of the guide.
